AWARENESS WEEK — 05/28 — 06/04

Final Session — Friday, June 4, 2021

Congratulations on taking time to discover more about YOU!

Now, let’s discuss what you’ve learned about yourself.

Take some time and ask yourself the following 3 questions:

What have I become aware of over the past 8 weeks?

What has this new information taught me about myself?

In what ways is this new information helpful in my professional life?

In my personal life?

8 Weeks of Self-Discovery

This leadership development program was created with you in mind. Self-awareness is a critical leadership skill. What inspires you? What brings you joy?

How do you cope with loss? We will journey together and come out on the other side with increased self-awareness and personal insight.

About BlackFemaleProject

BlackFemaleProject uplifts the voices of Black female professionals affirms their experiences and offers insights for achieving self-defined success in the workplace and beyond. Using virtual and in-person events, we bring Black women together—across generation and industry—to engage in sisterhood, resource and knowledge sharing, inspiration, healing, and growth. For over six years, we have collected and shared women’s stories in print, digital media, and through numerous programs and events in order to center Black women in statewide and national conversations about organizational culture, communications, and inclusion at work.

We believe in the power of storytelling to spur healing, growth, and confidence among Black women and girls to support them to step into leadership and work through barriers of oppression. Narratives from BlackFemaleProject not only encourage more Black women and girls to follow their own paths, but they also illuminate patterns of intersecting injustices for our employers, colleagues, and all people.
