Teacher Truth Perspectives
Premiere Watch Party & Collection Release

 

In groups of 3-4 participants, conduct the following:

1. Start your breakout session with a review of BlackFemaleProject norms and community guidelines.

  • Next, determine group roles:

    • The FACILITATOR ensures that everyone has an opportunity to speak, keeps the group on track, and facilitates work in alignment with norms.

    • The TIMEKEEPER makes sure that the group uses their time effectively and in alignment with tasks, suggests when it is time to move on.

    • The RECORDER takes notes and summarizes the group’s ideas for submission to info@blackfemaleproject.org.

2. Quick introductions:

  • State your name and repeat and respond to: “My Teacher Truth is…”

3. Discuss and record consensus and/or stand out points:

  • What stood out to you?

  • How have you been transformed as a result of watching the video this evening?

  • What is the most important thing that you gained? What is your takeaway?
