Alexis Williams

Alexis leads the development efforts at Echoing Green, creating and implementing a strategy that connects the power of the organization’s mission to individuals and institutions who seek to champion social innovation and racial equity.

Prior to joining Echoing Green, Alexis served as Associate Director of Development, North America for INSEAD, managing development efforts for the region in addition to launching the San Francisco Hub for Business Innovation, and the school’s E.D.I.T taskforce, co-creating the blueprint for diversity, equity, and inclusion at INSEAD.

With 20 years of international experience and over 10 years of development experience with for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations, she has successfully managed development and operations, leveraging collaboration with cross-functional international teams in North America, Asia, and Europe.

Alexis serves on the advisory council for BlackFemaleProject, a nonprofit that prepares Black women for the realities of the workplace and affirms Black women who thrive at work. The organization’s work is focused on resolving trauma, improving career experiences for Black women, and improving the overall wellbeing of workplaces. Alexis earned her bachelor's degree from Franklin University in Lugano, Switzerland.
