Sequoia Hall

I was raised by a single-mother who suffered from severe sickle-cell disease. Early on, I planned to make it to college and become a doctor to help people like my mom. My journey towards a STEM career was not unique which is why I thrive working in health workforce development today. Similar to my youth on the journey towards a career in health, I faced barriers along the path that pushed me towards closed doors. Fortunately for me, I landed my health experience at Alameda County Health Pathway Partnership. I am working towards a future in Health Policy & Advocacy. I hold a Bachelors of Arts in Social Welfare with a Certificate in Education from UC Berkeley and a Master’s in Public Administration from USC.
