What initially inspired you to connect with BlackFemaleProject?

I was inspired by the mission of BlackFemaleProject and the community being created through its existence.

How has BlackFemaleProject impacted you?

I feel more empowered and inspired to continue to do the work that it takes to show up as my highest self, especially in the workplace. I feel better equipped to question and pay close attention to what is happening in a corporate setting and make sure that I’m in spaces that are in alignment with my own personal goals and journey, while also holding myself accountable for my own self-care.

What motivated you to support BlackFemaleProject financially? OR Why does it feel valuable to support BlackFemaleProject financially?

BlackFemaleProject is doing the work and holding space to provide solutions.

What do you find most resonant in the BlackFemaleProject content you’ve heard, seen, or experienced?

In the stories I’ve read, podcast interviews I’ve listened to, and remote check-ins I’ve participated in, BlackFemaleProject’s encouragement to “show up as you are” resonates with me. BlackFemaleProject lifts up the message that you should embody your uniqueness because what you may find is that—more often than not—we are more alike than we are different. Being okay with who you are, what you feel, and how you think is of the highest value.
