BlackFemaleProject: 2015 Cohort Debrief and Dinner Celebration

On Saturday, March 19 at 6pm, members of the BlackFemaleProject 2015 cohort gathered at Z Cafe in Oakland, CA, for a celebratory debrief and next steps conversation. 

In a private room, guests and facilitators enjoyed tapas style dinner and discussed the inaugural year of BlackFemaleProject from the participant perspective. The group answered a series of questions: What worked well? What would you recommend to future participants? How can engagement be improved?

Precious J. Stroud, project founder, provided an update of recent Project developments including grants submitted, expansion plans, and story distribution.

The gathering was curated and facilitated by BlackFemaleProject Advisory Board Members, Dr. Tameka McGlawn and Freda Statom. Thanks to Contributors Kira L. Allen, Kat A. Croswell, Ericka Duke, and Fern A. Stroud for participating.
