Who can I interview?
Your mother, daughter, aunt, grandmother, niece, friend or another woman in your life who you'd like to honor.
Is there a strict interview format?
There are guidelines for the interview. The conversation can flow freely. You can always return to the list of interview questions to get the conversation back on track.
When will my interview go live on the StoryCorps BlackFemaleProject Archive?
It may take up to 72 hours for your story to go live on our Soundcloud playlist.

THE EASIEST WAY TO PARTICIPATE
The simplest way to participate is to record your interview using your phone’s voice recorder. Once recorded, send an email to info@blackfemaleproject.org along with:
AUDIO file (make sure the file is attached)
Participant NAMES
PHOTO of participants together
SUMMARY or SHORT DESCRIPTION of your interview
Three KEY WORDS that describe your interview (i.e. mother, passion, purpose, black women, medical, etc.)
Once we receive all five elements mentioned above, we may decide to upload the file and photo to our podcast Mother's Day Appreciation Collection playlist on Soundcloud.
