Farley's East Meetup - September 13, 2018
We had such a good time meeting up in Oakland at Farley’s East. The evening happy hour was part of the coffee shop’s community service project and BlackFemaleProject is the September 2018 NON PROFIT OF THE MONTH.
We enjoyed learning and sharing with one another. A lot of networking was going on and the evening was topped off with an inspiring talk from Paula Harrell of P. Harrell Wines. Paula told us that she navigates racism and sexism with ease because she ignores and does not give space to other people’s issues. If someone has a problem based on race or gender that is THEIR problem. She is living her life like its golden!
