The generous support of community has made possible the work of BlackFemaleProject. Thanks to donations and other types of contributions, we were able to make 2020 our most accomplished year yet. What we receive in financial support is transformed into unique programming we offer to Black women near and far. This year, we brought our programming across the nation—including to Mobile, Alabama and Detroit, Michigan—and as far as Paris, France. Given the circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the content we create has grown even more necessary. The expansion to new places brings new connections, new opportunities, and a new cost of operating.
