Liberation is a lifestyle in the workplace and beyond

#LiberationAtWork

As we hear the echoes of Black liberation ringing louder in the season of Juneteenth, we’re reflecting on what freedom for Black women looks like, in and out of the workplace. Every day at BlackFemaleProject, we envision a world where Black women can show up as our fully liberated selves, without any negative consequence.

So often, though, our natural ways of existing are policed and punished, despite also being monetized. Check out this conversation hosted by project supporter, Ayanna Anderson of Highwire PR, and featuring BlackFemaleProject board member, Ché Abram. In it, they reflect on the complex topic of Black women's hair.
