BlackFemaleProject Joins Welcome Week at Laney College

On August 23, 2022, BlackFemaleProject attended the Laney College Welcome Week Event — Laney Black Love. To celebrate the first day of classes, we joined a group of Black organizations based on and off campus to offer resources and community for Black students of all ages. Managed by Communications Program Consultant, Afiya Williams, our table invited Black women to share affirmations and lessons learned in their early work lives. We are grateful for the opportunity to reach new and returning students as they consider their career journeys and look forward to more collaboration with Laney College.
